On Saturday, November 23, 2024 me and my triplet sisters hosted our 50th Decades Themed Birthday Party!!! We had a blast! The Kingston House Restaurant is a hidden treasure. The event space downstairs was the perfect venue exactly what we were looking for. The owner Chris and his staff were very generous and accommodating which helped us create an unforgettable and memorable experience for us and our guests. The food and service were excellent and they let us decorate! If you are looking for a restaurant that feels like family with a warm and friendly atmosphere then this is the place for you!
Ahhh so pleasantly surprised. I’ve heard great things about this place but man did I feel the love and welcome upon walking in. They immediately focused on my son (toddler) and gave him options for coloring, so so friendly, and DELICIOUS food. I can’t wait to come back. Big perk about early dinners with toddlers and happy hour prices :) Oh a a big bonus is being able to sit by window to watch street cars go by!!!
Absolutely delightful place! My family and I came before Mother’s Day and her birthday and the experience was amazing. Food was delicious with lots of options for all food lovers and the service was exceptional! Our waitress Katrina was great and the owner was so kind- he even brought out dessert for my mom to celebrate! Definitely check out the Kingston House
I don’t think I’ve ever had better service in my life! The owner was so kind and took the time to talk to us even though the restaurant was super busy for Easter. I was shocked by the size of the menu at the beginning but somehow even all of the variety of dishes, the food was still delicious! Because it was so busy on Easter, the service was a little slow but it was PACKED (there was a table of like 20 people) and they more than made up for it throughout the night. My uncle would not stop asking for the leafs game and they were kind enough to put it on every tv screen including on a massive projector! After the big table left, the owner came over multiple times to talk to us and even gave us all complementary baklava :) Support this local beach business, they deserve it!!! And you’ll love the food!
The food was good but not great. I think the chefs might be allergic to salt/seasoning, lol. Definitely quality ingredients and good portions, though. Service was A. Our server was very patient and attentive even though it was super busy, and we had a large indecisive group. The atmosphere was nice but hardly any space between some of the tables. One server kept bumping into me, and it felt like we were on top of the table next to us. Nevertheless, overall it was a great place, and I had a really nice time!
Great pub to grab a drink at! Not just your average pub fare, I had the tuna bowl, it was excellent. The tuna was fresh and well seasoned, the coleslaw crisp, and the noodles done perfectly.
We enjoyed day 1 of #Winterlicious at The Kingston House Toronto. Lots of good offerings. We had the Chicken pate (highly recommend) steak frites and sticky toffee pudding. Very nice! First day of Winterlicious is a test for kitchen and staff but they were up for it.
